Giannis’ follow-up

Giannis Antetokounmpo provides more than enough reason to tune in on a nightly basis, but his exploits on Monday should only lead to an extra layer of curiosity as to what his second act for this week might look like.

Antetokounmpo produced arguably the best performance of his career to date as he dropped 50 points against the Jazz on Monday, while also adding 14 rebounds, six assists, and avoiding even a single turnover.

The hope will be that Middleton’s return can take some of the pressure to score off Giannis’ shoulders as he progresses back toward full health, but neither could anyone pretend that the reigning MVP has looked burdened of late.

Giannis is scoring with incredible ease, rebounding relentlessly, and dishing out assists that I’m not sure he could have pulled off even last season.

With all of that combined, the Hawks can’t exactly be thrilled with the prospect of facing him again so soon, and it would be tough to put anything past Antetokounmpo on Wednesday night.

The Bucks’ matchup with the Hawks at Fiserv Forum will tip off at 7pm CT on Wednesday night.
