Dominating on both ends

The Bucks have a point differential of +109 from their last three games, and with that they’ve only further built on their dominance on both ends for the season overall.

In many ways, this game capped off that push which has led the Bucks right back toward the league’s pinnacle in terms of both offensive and defensive rating.

Through 22 games, the Bucks have an offensive rating of 114.1 (second in the NBA), a defensive rating of 101.8 (first in the NBA), and unsurprisingly a league-best net rating of 12.3.

Against the Pistons, the Bucks set single-game marks of 121.5 per 100 possessions on the offensive end, while allowing just 98.6 points per 100 possessions on the defensive side of the ball.

With Antetokounmpo going to work from both inside and out, and Milwaukee shooting 40 percent from deep, the Bucks’ offense was running particularly smoothly, while Brook Lopez and Giannis’ five blocks provided notably sturdy resistance in the paint.

Next up for the Bucks is a much tougher test than they’ve faced in recent games, as the LA Clippers will visit Fiserv Forum to wrap up the season series between the teams.
