Clash of the Titans

The excitement of the Bucks and the 76ers facing off the first time this season, much less on Christmas Day, is incredibly palpable. Yet both teams will be without key pieces in some shape or form.

For the Bucks, they’ll obviously be without their starting point guard Eric Bledsoe, who continues to be sidelined with an avulsion fracture in his right leg that has kept him out of the Bucks’ last five games. The 76ers, meanwhile, will be without rookie wing and defensive dynamo, Matisse Thybulle, after he suffered a bone bruise and sprained right knee in the 76ers’ recent win over the Washington Wizards over the weekend.

While both teams won’t be at full strength, it certainly won’t sully what should make for a heated battle all the same.

And as the team that holds the best road record at 12-2, the Bucks could easily spoil the 76ers’ home court advantage, which has slipped over the last week after they had won their first 14 games at the Wells Fargo Center this season.
