Looking at the season series

It’s undeniable that some of the biggest and most decisive victories the Bucks have had this season have come against the Knicks.

In the Bucks’ two wins over New York this year, the combined margin of victory is 65 points and that includes their biggest win of the year, which was a 132-88 win over the Knicks back on December 2.

It obviously goes without saying that the Bucks and the Knicks exist in completely different worlds this season and it’s simply obvious that the Knicks don’t have the offensive weapons needed to burn Milwaukee in an attempt to secure an unlikely victory. And some of the Knicks’ worst offensive performances have come against the Bucks this season as well.

The fact that the Knicks are neither a high volume 3-point shooting team nor are they an efficient one in that regard hinders their effectiveness on that end of the floor and that hasn’t changed in Miller’s takeover. Of course, that hearkens back to the poor roster construction that their front office spearheaded last offseason and their offense just doesn’t match up to the new age standards that are tentpoles of a successful offense like the one the Bucks have.

Whether that changes Tuesday night remains to be seen and again, the Knicks will be without their leading scorer and best 3-point shooter in Morris, who previously missed that 44-point loss to the Bucks last month due to a separate injury.

Bucks’ winning should be rewarded with multiple All-Stars. dark. Next
