Seeking revenge

The Bucks do not like losing twice to the same team, and it’s a reality they’ve managed to avoid up until this point in their current campaign.

Given the manner in which they lost to the Celtics in their last meeting, though, it wouldn’t be any real surprise if this was a game that the Bucks have had circled on the calendar for quite some time.

In just their fourth game of the season, back in the dark days of stumbling to a 2-2 start, the Bucks blew a 19-point lead against Boston by completely imploding in the second half at TD Garden.

That turnaround required the Bucks’ offense to stall entirely, and the Celtics to catch fire from three-point range, but it still stands as arguably Milwaukee’s most disappointing defeat of their outstanding campaign to date.

Knowing the mindset of this team, righting that particular wrong is certain to be at the top of the agenda on Thursday night.
