Rest vs. rust vs. travel

When the Bucks and the Hornets take to the floor on Friday night, there’s a wide variety of different factors that could come into play in terms of exactly how the game will play out.

Having last played on Monday, the Bucks have enjoyed an unusual extended rest. Those kind of breaks in the schedule don’t come up too often in season, and therefore there will automatically be a question of whether the Bucks will look refreshed or a little bit rusty coming out the other side of that down time.

Of course, another factor that will be given plenty of attention is just how the toll of travel, and an inevitable element of jet lag could impact the two teams.

The Bucks did get to Paris a little earlier than the Hornets, having left for France immediately after Monday’s win over the Bulls. With their time to acclimate maximized, the hope will be that the team’s planning around the trip will ensure they’re at peak performance levels on Friday night.
