All-Star celebration

Friday night could well serve as an All-Star celebration for Bucks fans at Fiserv Forum.

Khris Middleton was named an Eastern Conference reserve on Thursday night as the latest batch of All-Star reveals came around, marking what will be his second consecutive trip to the league’s showcase game.

Of course, given that Middleton poured in a career-high 51 points on Tuesday against the Wizards, in his most recent outing at Fiserv Forum, he may find it tough to deliver a follow-up to that all-time effort. Still, we can expect Middleton to feel the adulation of the Milwaukee crowd.

In addition to Middleton, it’s worth noting that even though its over a week since Giannis Antetokounmpo was named as a starter and team captain, Bucks’ fans have yet to have a chance to celebrate his latest All-Star exploits either.

Antetokounmpo and Co. were in Paris when that news broke, and Giannis sat out Tuesday’s game through injury while choosing to watch that contest from behind the scenes rather than on the bench.

Don’t be surprised if there’s a presentation of some sort to Antetokounmpo and Middleton prior to tip-off in this one, particularly if Antetokounmpo is back in the lineup.
