No offense, but…

Considering they have been under .500 since the turn of the year, the Bucks are dealing with a different 76ers team, even one that was already underwhelming compared to early season expectations.

And the offensive concerns that many, if not all, had heading into the year have been validated and then some for the 76ers. Since the turn of the new year, the 76ers have the third-worst offensive rating (106.8 points per 100 possessions) and sixth-worst true shooting percentage (55 percent).

As Embiid alluded to in his earlier comments, the lack of cohesion, consistency and overall outlook of how the 76ers played has certainly suffered as the season has gone along and especially at full health with their core and at full strength.

The Bucks have certainly looked to the lack of spacing the 76ers have offensively, whether it’s sagging off the likes of Embiid or All-Star forward Ben Simmons, and to a lesser extent, Al Horford (at least historically when he was on the Boston Celtics).

But again, whether Philadelphia has the 3-point firepower that boosted them to their win over the Bucks earlier in the season will be critical to the contest as a whole Thursday night.

Speaking of which, the Bucks’ meeting with the Philadelphia 76ers will tip off at 7 pm central time and you can catch the action on TNT as it will be broadcasted nationally.
