C. Credit to the Orlando Magic for fighting hard, as all Steve Clifford-led teams have done throughout his coaching career. And they certainly fought their way into trying to make it a game throughout the second half where they cut their double digit deficit down to single digits briefly near the start of the fourth period. Despite their never say die attitude, the Magic’s lack of perimeter shooting and overall shot creation just continues to sink them throughout their meetings with the Bucks this season. Case in point, the Magic connected on just 25 percent of their 40 3-point attempts Saturday and shot 37.8 percent from the field on 98 attempts. Their ability to force the Bucks into committing 16 turnovers helped them on the margins, but that only took them so far in limiting the NBA’s second-best offense. With the Magic slotted in as the eighth seed for the moment, it’s very possible that this won’t be the last meeting of the season between the two clubs, but it’s clear that in spite of the effort the Magic put out, the Bucks clearly have their number.. Eastern Conference. 22-31. ORLANDO MAGIC
