Kings on a roll

After taking major steps forward with a season filled with promise last year, the 2019-20 campaign has been far from what the Sacramento Kings will have envisioned for themselves.

Having said that, in spite of some surprising rotation choices and playing under the pressure of frequent trade speculation in recent weeks, the Kings will come to Milwaukee on Monday night relatively in-form.

The Kings have won three consecutive games, beating the Spurs, Heat, and Timberwolves, and are 6-4 over their last 10 games. The Kings’ last five games also include a win against the Clippers, with the Lakers being the only team to have defeated Luke Walton‘s squad during that span.

Given they’ve won just 21 games on the season overall, that’s by no means insignificant for Sacramento.

That run has coincided with Buddy Hield shifting to the bench, a move that caused many to scratch their heads, but one that has ultimately done little to slow down the Bahamian’s scoring and general influence on the team.

With the Kings riding a rare wave of confidence, the Bucks will need to avoid complacency in this one.
