Khris’ second All-Star Game

While Antetokounmpo has steadily gotten used to being in the limelight especially during All-Star Weekend, his Bucks teammmate, Khris Middleton, is starting to find his comfort zone being under such attention.

Yet, as he continues to write a career year where he’s averaging 20.4 points per game on .501/.438/.902 splits, 6.1 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game, Middleton is gradually shedding the label that he’s little more than a second banana in the shadow of Antetokounmpo.

If last year served as Middleton’s All-Star breakthrough, the improvements, confidence and consistency the 28-year-old has displayed all throughout the 2019-20 season have shown he has earned his place sharing the floor with his respective All-Stars.

And lest we forget that Middleton performed well in his All-Star debut and gave Team Giannis a huge scoring lift with 20 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the field (6-of-10 from deep), five rebounds, four assists, one turnover, and was a +3 in over 21 minutes burn off the bench.

Can he put in a similarly efficient performance this year in search of a victory? We’ll just have to wait and see.
