Looking at the injury report

We already know the Bucks will be down one key starter going into Monday night’s game against Washington.

As Matt Velazquez of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel tweeted out Sunday night, the Bucks will be without Brook Lopez, who joins Kyle Korver in the back soreness club for the time being.

Lopez had previously missed two games this year with back soreness, those being the Bucks’ blowout victories over the Charlotte Hornets and the New York Knicks at the end of November and beginning of December.

With the Bucks’ first meeting in Toronto coming on Tuesday night, it wouldn’t be all that surprising to see this come as a decision mad for precautionary reasons, given the back-to-back situation.

Brook’s twin brother, Robin Lopez, should have no problem filling in his place and did turn in great spot starts in both of those previous contests. And certainly his good run of form, especially his performance against the 76ers, should offer up some level of encouragement within the starting lineup.

George Hill’s defense shouldn’t be overlooked. dark. Next
