Head Coach. Milwaukee Bucks. MIKE BUDENHOLZER. B+. Considering the unusually early start time, Middleton’s absence, and just how unsustainably dominant his team has been lately, Mike Budenholzer likely wasn’t all that surprised by how this performance ultimately played out. The Bucks were due a more sluggish effort, and he’ll just be thrilled that they managed to fight through it with a win. It certainly helps to have the best player on the planet, but Budenholzer set him up to succeed down the stretch in this one by taking him off the ball somewhat to relieve some of the on-ball attention the Hornets were sending his way, allowing him to attack off the pass in rhythm. The results were decisively positive.
