Milwaukee Bucks: Player grades from 140-131 loss to Phoenix Suns

Milwaukee Bucks. ERIC BLEDSOE. B. Making his return to Phoenix, Eric Bledose turned in a solid performance Sunday night, although it wasn’t without some of his more patented disastrous moments. The 30-year-old got to the hole with ease to put down a variety of deft finishes, some through contact, and added a pair of triples as well to fill out his 28-point outing for the game. He also got plenty of teammates involved with seven assists, but his turnovers continue to pile up as he counted three more miscues to that tally. It was a bounce back performance for Bledsoe, to be sure, but the Bucks needed even more consistency out of him, considering the circumstances.. Guard

B+. Khris Middleton’s showing Sunday was very emblematic of the Bucks’ overall performance in their loss to the Suns. It took until Middleton’s seventh shot attempt, an 18-footer from mid-range, to get on the board as the Bucks fell behind quickly. From there, though, the floodgates opened for the All-Star swingman as he went on to have 39 points on 26 shots (3-for-10 from three, 10-for-11 from the foul line), four assists as well as four turnovers in 35 minutes of action. Middleton’s rhythm since returning from his neck injury has been disrupted, so hopefully what we saw from his last three quarters leads to more consistent outings in the short-term, especially without Antetokounmpo in action for the moment..
