The Denver Nuggets eventually got the job done, but there were very few things convincing about their performance before they were able to put the shorthanded Bucks away midway through the fourth quarter. Of course, the lack of engagement we saw could have been seen as a reflection on the Bucks team that was rolled out throughout the night, but the Nuggets’ star center, Nikola Jokic, was in one of his weird, unfocused moods as he finished with 10 points on 13 shots, nine rebounds and seven assists. Instead, it was Jamal Murray that helped steer the ship where he led the team with 21 points, along with six assists and five rebounds. One of the few positives on the night from the Nuggets’ perspective was their strong shooting from three as they went 16-for-41 from that range on the night (39 percent). Other than that, Denver is simply trying to find stability in what’s been a trying post-All-Star break stretch for them.. Western Conference. 43-21. DENVER NUGGETS. C+
