Bass

As we move into the rhythm section, it’s crucial to find a steadying presence.

This Bucks band will need a calm and reliable figure whose seen and done it all at this point, and just knows how to make the whole thing work.

Therefore, delivering bass lines that will drive the band’s sound is none other than George Hill.

Hill already has a proven track record when it comes to driving things forward (and backward), and catering to the ego of lead vocalist Pat Connaughton.

Crucially for a bassist, Hill can be relied upon to offer consistent performance every night, though. He may not get the praise he deserves for that, but the rest of the band couldn’t do what they do without him.

Hill also benefits from the experience of having been in a band before, coming equipped with an AC/DC-esque wardrobe that includes suit shorts, and he will be more than willing to chime in with backing vocals at any given moment.
