Keyboard/Synth

Last but by no means least, this band needs someone to play the keyboard or break out a synthesizer when required.

This is the kind of role that is often left to a nameless, faceless touring member, but in the case of this Bucks band, this will be a much more central role.

In part, that’s because this band needs an injection of creativity, and who better to provide that than Robin Lopez.

With his wide range of cultural interests and artistic flair, RoLo could do everything from taking a lead role in the songwriting process to creating the artwork for the album cover.

Also, keyboardist’s are often required to have an uncommon skill for being comfortable on stage even when they’re not playing at that exact moment. This can require engaging with the crowd, and generally just a flair for being performative. This band needs a dash of personality.

Whether it’s his ongoing feuds with the NBA’s various mascots, his recurring role as the fall guy in the Bucks’ pre game wrestling, or his tea sipping celebrations on the court, it seems like RoLo has exactly the right kind of energy needed for this role.
