vs. New Orleans Pelicans, 12/11/19

With leading scorer Giannis Antetokounmpo being ruled out for the game versus the visiting New Orleans Pelicans, the Milwaukee Bucks were going to need a real lift from the play of Khris Middleton and Eric Bledsoe.

The Bucks took care of business, defeating the Pelicans 127-112 with some stellar play from Bledsoe, in particular. The guard finished with a team-high 29 points, and shot 10-of-13 from the field, an impressive 76.9 percent.

The most significant takeaway from Bledsoe’s big night was his shooting from behind the arc, where he connected on 5-of-6 attempts, a remarkable 83.3 percent. For a player who had struggled with sustaining his shooting from deep all season long, it was memorable to see him knock down all but one three-pointer on the night.

Bledsoe did plenty more than just scoring, however, filling up the stat sheet with six assists, three rebounds, and two steals. His positive impact was felt on both ends of the court throughout this game as the Bucks needed a jolt of energy with their depleted lineup.

It was an all-around great night for the Milwaukee Bucks’ starting point guard who would lead his team to a massive victory without the reigning MVP.
