vs. Boston Celtics, 1/16/20

The Milwaukee Bucks sought revenge against the visiting Boston Celtics, who defeated them early on in the season. Having not played in the first matchup, Donte DiVincenzo made his presence felt in this game.

DiVincenzo finished the game with a new career-high 19 points as he put on a showcase from start to finish. Shooting 6-for-11 from the field, which once again included a stellar 4-for-6 shooting from deep, DiVincenzo excelled offensively in a game against a pair of the Eastern Conference’s best.

Receiving a small boost from the free-throw line, DiVincenzo finished a perfect 3-for-3 from the stripe on the night. The guard also hauled in three rebounds and a single assist on his big night, primarily doing damage as he scored the ball.

Still, DiVincenzo once again proved his peskiness on the defensive end for opponents as he collected two more steals. Rounding out his remarkable night, the guard notched three rounds and a single assist.

The Bucks picked up a 128-123 victory on their home court that night in an all-around team effort. DiVincenzo stepped up significantly in a game with massive Eastern Conference implications, which makes it good enough to be his second-best game of the season.
