vs. Orlando Magic, Dec. 28

After falling on their face on Christmas Day to the Philadelphia 76ers, the Bucks were in the process of trying to avenge their holiday misstep in the aftermath of the nationally-televised defeat.

On the second night of a back-to-back, Lopez certainly did his part to help lead the Bucks to a second straight win in their 111-100 victory over the Orlando Magic back on Dec. 28.

The 31-year-old finished with a season-high 17 points on 7-of 8 shooting from the field (1-for-1 from deep), three rebounds, two turnovers, one assist and was a +9 in over 23 minutes of run off the bench.

Lopez was incredibly automatic hitting hook shots from the post to give opposing Magic big men, specifically Khem Birch, all sorts of problems  and give the Bucks a huge lift from their second unit. And by sinking a triple as well as offering up the same rim protection that’s been consistent all season long, Lopez stood out in what was a comfortable victory for the league’s best squad.
