October 24 at Houston Rockets

As we’ve covered in previous installments, the Bucks’ opening game of the 2019-20 season was surely a memorable one.

And Lopez continues that trend in that he stood as one of many figures to help the Bucks complete their 117-111 comeback victory on the road over the Houston Rockets back on October 24.

Save for gradually shutting off the basket to open up room for the Bucks’ second half comeback on the defensive end, Lopez didn’t make his presence known offensively until late in the night. Case in point, all 11 of Lopez’s points against the Rockets came over the final seven minutes of the game and during critical minutes without superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo on the floor.

But it was the way in which Lopez helped junk up the game with his strong post game and hitting a decisive triple around the five-and-a-half mark in the fourth quarter that helped give the Bucks a 101-95 edge at that point in the game.

Lopez wound up finishing with 11 points on nine shots (1-for-3 from deep), five blocks, three assists, two rebounds and was a +5 in nearly 27 minutes of action. There surely are better and more productive performances to choose from, as we’ll continue diving into, but there might not be a more clutch showing from Lopez on this list.
