Myles  Turner

Myles Turner‘s slim frame doesn’t necessarily lend itself to the vision of the stereotypically assertive and imposing figures that have traditionally patroled the paint in the NBA over the decades.

Still, Turner possesses an impeccable knack for timing and positioning, and is frequently allowed to go to work in terms of racking up blocks thanks to the frontcourt support that Domantas Sabonis also offers the Pacers.

It’s certainly worth pointing out that Turner hasn’t necessarily achieved the kind of consistency that many of the league’s other top shot-blockers have routinely demonstrated, as his year on year numbers have fluctuated over the course of his five seasons to date in the NBA.

Having said that, at the peak of his powers, Turner is a match for the very best of them. In 2018-19, Turner’s 2.7 blocks per game led the entire NBA, and potentially set the table for a career that could continue to blossom significantly from a defensive point of view.
