January 28, 2020 vs. Washington Wizards

Along those same lines, there’s certainly a kind of unpredictability and magic that occurs on the nights the Bucks are without the signature star in Antetokounmpo.

That was the case on February 6 when the Bucks took a 151-131 victory over the Washington Wizards at Fiserv Forum, a game that will certainly be remembered for the spectacular and career-high 51-point performance Middleton enjoyed that night.

Not for nothing, but Bledsoe was equally wonderful as he too enjoyed a performance worthy of celebrating in a game where very little defense was played on both sides of the court.

Bledsoe played the perfect foil to Middleton’s excellent shooting display on the night as he gets downhill early and often to put pressure at the basket and take advantage of Washington’s truly awful defense. And the attention that the Wizards directed towards Bledsoe to try and shut off any driving lane, he helped set up many of Middleton’s seven triples as well other buckets from various Bucks players.

As of the season stoppage, the Bucks’ offensive performance ranks as the most efficient offensive performance of the 2019-20 season by a significant margin, per NBA.com/stats. And the seventh-most efficient performance an NBA team has crafted this year.

Seeing the floor for 30-and-a-half minutes, Bledsoe finished with a season-high 34 points on 11-of-20 shooting (2-for-5 from long range, 10-for-10 from the free throw line), dished out 10 assists, six rebounds, one steal and was a +22 on the night.

While the 2019-20 season may be paused for now, there’s no question that Bledsoe will be eager to add to this list if and when action resumes down the line.
