3 stats that show why Khris Middleton deserves All-NBA – 21/6/4

Middleton’s efficiency numbers this season certainly meet the growing standards of what has been prevalent all throughout the modern NBA.

But the value of Middleton’s all-around performance shouldn’t be lost on anyone this season as the former Aggie has been incredibly impactful beyond just his sublime scoring efficiency. Along with the 21.1 points per game he has averaged, Middleton has averaged a career-high 6.2 rebounds per game and 4.1 assists per game and a solid 1.99 assist-to-turnover ratio this season.

Middleton has done all of this while taking on a greater load handling the Bucks’ offensive reins, as evidenced by his 25.9 usage percentage, per NBA.com/stats.

Just like his bid with entering the 50-40-90 club, Middleton’s raw counting numbers place him among either current Hall of Famers or soon-to-be Hall of Famers and contemporaries, including his long-time running mate in Antetokounmpo.

Middleton may not get associated or even reach the gargantuan workload of Antetokounmpo’s, but that hasn’t stopped the two-time All-Star forward in increasingly stepping up this season and it’s worked out wonders for all involved in Milwaukee.
