Milwaukee Bucks: 4 replacement players they could look to from Wisconsin Herd – Jaylen Adams

We’ll start it off with one of the biggest contributors to the Herd’s 2019-20 season this year.

Second-year guard Jaylen Adams was absolutely sensational as he stood as one of the three dynamic scorers on the Herd’s roster, along with two-way player Frank Mason III and Rayjon Tucker before his call up to the Utah Jazz in late December.

Between his scorching shooting, both off the dribble or off the catch, Adams can surely heat up in a hurry and is equally equipped of knifing his way through the lane to finish at the cup, and in some cases, play above the rim. While he lacks traditional size as a combo guard, his great foot speed and active hands shone as the Herd largely looked to replicate the defensive scheme set from their parent club in Milwaukee.

In his 33 appearances this season, Adams averaged 21.5 points on .486/.407/.788 shooting splits, along with 5.7 assists, 5.1 rebounds and 1.8 steals.

Clearly, the familiarity that Adams has within the organization is an advantage and so is his spark plug shooting and scoring, even in what would be under a more minimal role than he was used to in Oshkosh. Adams clearly has NBA-level skills and qualities, making him a welcome fit in the case of an emergency for the Bucks.
