Revisiting 50-point games throughout Milwaukee Bucks history – Khris Middleton

The latest entry to this list, Khris Middleton’s longevity and complementary skill set has led to him finding a home in Milwaukee throughout his eight-year career.

While many of Middleton’s accomplishments have come under the shadow of his long-time running mate in Antetokounmpo, he has increasingly come under the spotlight as he’s earned two consecutive All-Star appearances and looks with Team USA during last year’s FIBA World Cup.

Of course, it was right before Middleton’s second All-Star appearance where he experienced his career highlight of scoring 51 points and leading the Antetokounmpo-less Bucks over the Washington Wizards in a 151-131 win back on January 28 earlier this year.

Going 16-of-26 from the field, burying seven triples and hitting all 12 shots from the foul line, Middleton’s masterpiece has been emblematic of the highly efficient season that he had been enjoying all year. That’s certainly been backed up by the fact that the former Aggie had been flirting with a 50-40-90 season while averaging 21.1 points per game by the time of the season suspension.

Whether Middleton can add another 50-point performance under his belt in the future remains to be seen, but it doesn’t get much better than the kind of game he enjoyed to get into this club in the first place.
