Milwaukee Bucks: 3 things to watch for in Game 5 vs. Orlando Magic – Closing time

No, this isn’t the final song of a Semisonic concert, but the Bucks will kindly be asking for the Magic to gather their jackets and move toward the exits all throughout Game 5.

Up 3-1 going into Wednesday’s meeting, the Bucks have a chance to close out their first round series with little to no fuss, which couldn’t be further from how it all began last Tuesday afternoon following their Game 1 defeat.

What followed was the Bucks rallying the troops, so to speak, and that has helped take control of the series, a sentiment that Brook Lopez echoed to Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press Tuesday afternoon:

"“Obviously, in Game 1, we were all disappointed in ourselves,” Milwaukee center Brook Lopez said Tuesday. “We felt we weren’t the team that we are and capable of being. Each and every game, our effort has been there since then. … The bottom line is we’ve come out and competed so much harder.”"

With their second round opponent in the Miami Heat awaiting them following the sweep of the Indiana Pacers Monday night, the Bucks can’t let any further lapses get in the way of a series that many predicted to be over by now. But righting the ship as they have in this series is a start and necessary with bigger challenges lying ahead.
