5 wings for Milwaukee Bucks to target at 24th overall pick – Leandro Bolmaro

To get us started off, we turn our attention to Barcelona wing Leandro Bolmaro, someone who has been mocked to the Bucks this far out from the draft.

First, there’s the intriguing, developing skill set that the Argentinian has been molding in Spain over the last couple of years. A player of Bolmaro’s size (6’7″) and skilled playmaking chops don’t come around too often and when you add on the strong defensive attributes and tenacity he brings, he has the makings to be an interesting two-way piece.

On the other hand, when it comes to evaluating his fit within the Bucks, Bolmaro’s most outstanding deficiency, his 3-point shooting, is quite the hurdle to overcome. And given the Bucks’ needs to add a contributor who can help them win now, Bolmaro having recently signed an extension to stay in Barcelona until 2023 doesn’t help matters in that regard.

As one of the premier draft-and-stash candidates in this class, Bolmaro’s development for Barcelona could help him blossom into a solid role player down the line. The question for the Bucks, though, is whether they can afford that patience, given the current dilemma they’re mired in right now.
