5 bigs for Milwaukee Bucks to target with 24th overall pick – Zeke Nnaji

Starting us all off, we’re looking at Arizona big man Zeke Nnaji.

Nanji is making the jump to the NBA after having a productive year down in Tucson with the Wildcats as he put up 16.1 points on 57 percent shooting from the field, 8.6 rebounds and 0.9 blocks over his 32 appearances on the year.

Like many of the center prospects on this list, Nnaji acquitted himself well as an opportunistic scorer and relied on his size to score out of the post. Whether he will be able to add a perimeter shot or perimeter skills is the big question as he went 5-for-17 from three on the year.

With The Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor reporting that the Minnesota native is garnering interest in the late teens and early 20s, it seems as though Nnaji is within the Bucks’ range at the 24th overall pick. Whether they value Nnaji’s offensive production as well as buy his shot and buy him into developing into a more stable rim protector is the question the Bucks and all teams standing late in the first round will have in evaluating the 19-year-old’s services.

For those curious to learn more about Nnaji and how he could fit with the Bucks, you can read all about that here.
