Milwaukee Bucks: 3 possible trade targets from Atlantic Division – Reggie Bullock, New York Knicks

Reggie Bullock’s 2019-20 season was limited to just 29 total games after the swingman elected to undergo spinal fusion surgery shortly after signing with the New York Knicks in the summer of 2019.

When he finally returned to the court in the latter part of the season, Bullock was justifiably rusty, averaging just 8.1 points on .402/.333/.810 shooting slashes, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.4 assists across his 29 appearances. Now, New York must decide whether or not to bring Bullock back by guaranteeing his $4.2 salary for next season, which Marc Berman of the New York Post believes they will, stating:

"“Bullock’s modest option year is likely to be picked up, according to an NBA source.”"

If that is the case, Bullock could be a hot commodity on the trade market, given his digestible salary and reputation as a 3-and-D wing. Although he had a down year shooting the ball this season coming back from injury, the 29-year-old is a career 38.5 percent shooter from deep, something that teams will have their eye on.

With a significant portion of the Bucks’ wing depth set to hit the free agent market, inquiring about a player like Bullock could be a feasible option as a potential replacement. His floor spacing capabilities would without question be a welcoming addition to Milwaukee’s lineup, if he is back to full strength.

The guard would likely not be a pricey acquisition in terms of outgoing assets, depending on how highly the Knicks value his veteran presence.
