Milwaukee Bucks: Where wing rotation stands going into offseason – Donte DiVincenzo

Classifying Donte DiVincenzo as a wing may be a bit of a stretch as his do-it-all nature was seen all throughout his sophomore breakout.

In a season full of bright spots, at least through the regular season, the emergence of DiVincenzo made for a welcome sight, especially within a veteran-laden group. Even as DiVincenzo largely struggled to maintain his rhythm from the regular season going into the seeding games and into the postseason, DiVincenzo still stands as the bright star as far as the Bucks’ internal development goes.

DiVincenzo averaged 9.2 points on a .455/.336/.733 slash line, 4.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals over his 66 appearances on the season last year.

For as bright as DiVincenzo’s future is after starting to put things together last season, whether that comes in Milwaukee is a big question. It’d be a shock to see the Bucks part ways with DiVincenzo for simply anything, but given their limited draft assets, the Bucks will have to be honest in their assessment of DiVincenzo’ potential as they explore potential upgrades to their roster.

Until then, DiVincenzo has carved out his niche in Milwaukee and there is plenty of room to grow moving forward for the 23-year-old.
