Milwaukee Bucks: Where wing rotation stands going into offseason – Kyle Korver

Even as he’s nearing on 40 years old, Kyle Korver showed in his first season with the Bucks that he can pack quite the scoring punch still, thanks to his legendary sharpshooting.

Even as he played the third-fewest minutes of his career, Korver’s quick trigger and chemistry with the Bucks’ main creators made him a viable plug-and-play option in the Bucks’ rotation. Averaging 6.7 points per game on 41.8 percent shooting from three is good evidence of that.

Now, Korver’s NBA future is very much a question moving forward. Korver has already entertained whether to call it a career before coming to Milwaukee and he appears to be mulling that decision again as The Undefeated’s Marc Spears tweeted after the end of the Bucks’ season.

Of course, such a decision will have to come fairly soon, given the new start time for the 2020-21 season. But it’s possible that the Creighton product follows Marvin Williams in retirement after his own journeyed career.

In the chance that korver decides to give it another go in hopes of winning an NBA title, he won’t have a shortage of contenders calling for his services and it feels safe to assume the Bucks may be one of those teams. We’ll have to wait whether that will all come to pass.
