Giannis Antetokounmpo: 3 shooters to pair with the MVP in free agency – E’Twaun Moore

As my colleague Jordan Treske recently detailed, E’Twaun Moore should be a candidate for the Bucks to pursue with their bi-annual exception in free agency, and it is clear to see why.

Moore is a stellar shooter from behind the arc, clocking in a 39 career 3-point percentage from 3-point range over his nine NBA seasons. The guard added in a 37.7 percent outing from long range last season, in part due to his regressed role with the New Orleans Pelicans as they brought in more developmental pieces into their rotation.

As the Pelicans trend towards a more youth-focused movement this offseason, the 31-year-old Moore could be looking for a new home in the league and contenders may soon come calling. That is if they haven’t already.

If so, the Bucks are an ideal fit. Moore would be a fantastic complementary shooter to Antetokounmpo on down and serves as a genuine threat on the perimeter. While being able to create his own shots pales in comparison to his off-ball shooting, the gravity with which Antetokounmpo creates offense for others could see his 3-point efficiency surge.

The Bucks have had an interest in Moore before he went to join the Pelicans in free agency more than four years ago. Perhaps this offseason is where they replenish their wing depth and shooting by adding the former Boilermaker.
