All eyes on Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo

Certainly the biggest question of the Bucks offseason remains unanswered, at least as of this writing.

Antetokounmpo, the two-time MVP, has yet to make his decision final on what he will do with his five-year supermax extension that is projected to start out at $228 million. That’s no small chunk of change and there has been plenty of speculation as to what he will ultimately decide long before he has been faced with this decision.

The Bucks obviously felt the urgency to shore up their roster and make good on the championship potential they have entertained the last two seasons before falling out of the playoffs disastrously.

While the Bucks may ultimately have their best shot at winning a title next season with Holiday on board, making such a drastic move for the veteran guard undoubtedly was a way to appease Antetokounmpo into signing his supermax extension.

Whatever his decision ultimately will be, the question of how long the speculation around Antetokounmpo and his extension is on the minds of Bucks fans. And with training camp set to start Tuesday, Antetokounmpo may be faced with a litany of questions at to his intentions the more it lingers on.

Such a critical question that hangs over the Bucks and their future affects how the Bucks build their roster and continue planning for the future, despite their internal confidence that he ultimately signs his extension. After all, it’s Antetokounmpo who makes it possible for the Bucks to contend for a championship, but that just isn’t enough at this point.
