Goal No. 2 – Improve upon 3-point shooting

For the past several seasons, 29 teams in the NBA have dreaded the thought of Antetokounmpo adding the 3-point shot to his offensive arsenal. Although he is not a respectable threat from behind the arc just yet for opponents, the Greek Freak showcased flashes of improvement last season with the  Bucks.

Antetokounmpo shot 30.4 percent on a career-high 4.7 attempts per game from 3-point territory last season, a significant change compared to his 25.6 percent on 2.8 attempts per game the year prior. Still, opponents did not go out of their way to guard the two-time MVP on the perimeter because they know of his shortcomings from long distance.

The 26-year-old knows the significance behind adding a long range jump shot, and it is something he has been adamant about improving this offseason. In fact, the Greek Freak stated in a recent interview with Cosmote TV that he is going to spend more time behind the arc this season:

"“I want to improve my numbers on the three-point shot, i want to improve my free throw percentage, i will play more on the perimeter this season. I worked hard, i believe in myself and the results will come”."

Hopefully, Antetokounmpo is true to his word, and his 3-point percentage takes another substantial leap once again this season. If so, Antetokounmpo’s sheer dominance would reach new heights on the offensive end.
