Grading Torrey Craig’s growing stint with the Milwaukee Bucks

Torrey Craig wiped the slate clean when he arrived to Milwaukee after his three-year stint with the Denver Nuggets came to an abrupt end over the offseason. Unfortunately, the slate still remains blank.

Only two-way player Jaylen Adams has played fewer total minutes than Craig has one month into the Bucks’ season. Of course, Craig suffering a fractured nose three games into the Bucks’ season threw a wrench in being able to earn minutes as he’s only returned to action very recently.

Still, Craig has been relegated to mop up duty with the Bucks’ clean up crew when available, even dating back to the Bucks’ preseason. Injury or not, Craig just hasn’t made a case to head coach Mike Budenholzer for why he should get regular playing time.

That hasn’t stopped Bucks fans from wanting to see what Craig can do, especially when his defensive abilities and versatility could help the Bucks find a new dimension on that side of the ball. Nevertheless, Craig is still waiting for his opportunity to get his shine in the Bucks’ rotation and time will if and whenever that comes.
