Third key to victory against Toronto Raptors – Milwaukee Bucks need to hit their own 3-pointers

Another relatively simple key to victory, the Bucks will need to find success offensively from behind the 3-point line against the Toronto Raptors.

Toronto has clogged the lane defensively and currently giving up just 40.8 opposing points in the paint per game, the second-best mark in the association. With the paint logged off, opposing teams have had to rely heavily on their shooting from the outside, which has fared better for them this season. Toronto’s opponents are shooting 36.4 percent from long-range, and the Bucks could exploit that.

The Bucks have been relatively fantastic shooting the ball this season by knocking down 39.5 percent of their 38.3 attempts from deep per game. Still, they have not been without their share of inconsistencies for a team dependent on their outside shooting. For reference, the Bucks came out and hit just seven triples against the New York Knicks on December 27 but torched the Miami Heat with an NBA record 29 3-pointers just two days later.

If Milwaukee can have a performance that resembles the latter, they will be in great shape. The Bucks have been phenomenal on the offensive end this season, and their outstanding 3-point shooting has been a significant reason why, but they have not been without their inconsistencies.
