Pat Connaughton has been a falling trend for the Milwaukee Bucks.

Thankfully, it was difficult for me to highlight any part of a Bucks team that had been firing on ally cylinders last week.Unfortunately, there was one player who struggled mightily this week, and that was Pat Connaughton.

Since re-upping with the Bucks over the offseason, Connaughton has shown some much-needed improvements in his play, such as shooting 40.9 percent from three over his 20 appearances on the year. But last week was a quiet one for the sixth-year wing.

Connaughton was limited to just 4 points per game in Milwaukee’s four wins while going 7-for-19 from the field (36.8 percent) and 2-for-11 from deep (18.2 percent), 2.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists over 14.7 minutes per game.

Connaughton is certainly known for his streaky shooting and scoring and the same goes for the lack of defensive discipline he can show at times when biting for pump fakes on opponents. With that said, Connaughton’s energy and effort can give the Bucks a spark and hopefully, it can help him rebound as the Bucks’ road swing brings them out West this week.
