Jordan Nwora’s lethal shooting has been as advertised for the Milwaukee Bucks

If not for a sprained ankle that he suffered in his brief assignment to the Salt Lake City Stars last month, Bucks rookie forward Jordan Nwora looked well on his way towards tearing up the competition in the G League.

It’s only been recently that Nwora has recently returned to action and has showed off the skill set that allured the Bucks into taking him with 45th overall pick in last year’s draft.

Nwora’s instant scoring ability was on full display throughout his career night against the Knicks where he finished with 21 points on 7-for-18 shooting (4-for-8 from three), 10 rebounds and a pair of assists in over 36 minutes of action.

While Nwora’s capable of scoring at a more efficient rate, the ability to which he’s capable of catching fire has been a common sight in his rare outings this season. And the way in which Nwora can consistently get separation on his signature stepback jumper from well behind the 3-point line is surely impressive at this stage in his game.

Players of Nwora’s size and scoring prowess don’t come around often. While there are other areas he needs to grow in if he wants to see consistent minutes under Budenholzer, Nwora will bring a definitive scoring punch whenever he earns minutes.
