Jordan Nwora is the Milwaukee Bucks’ second star of the week

Outside of his brief run in the Bucks’ rotation near the start of the season and his brief assignment in the G League that was cut short by an ankle injury, Jordan Nwora showed why the Bucks valued him highly in last year’s draft.

The Bucks went into the draft looking for some serious firepower and Nwora certainly brings that and then some as his 21-point performance against the Knicks showed last time out. The combination of Nwora’s limitless range and shotmaking has been highly impressive to see.

The multitude of ways he can score the ball, whether it’s slashing through the paint or knocking down stepback triples at an incredible rate, Nwora knows how to get to his spots very comfortably at this stage in his development.

Whether Nwora can supplement his scoring prowess by holding up in other areas of the game remains to be seen, but he brings a scoring punch that the Bucks will need to lean on as he finds his footing on the NBA level.
