Pat Connaughton has been a rising trend for the Milwaukee Bucks.

Pat Connaughton continues to show why the Bucks made such a high priority to bring him back last offseason.

The 28-year-old has only gotten better as the season has gone on and especially after the break where he’s averaging 8.4 points on .481/.462/.667 shooting, 6.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists across 28.4 minutes per game.

Nights like the one Connaughton had in the Bucks’ blowout win over the Indiana Pacers last week showcased his improved marksmanship and he’s now up to 41 percent shooting from beyond the arc on the season.

Along with that, Connaughton’s usage as a small ball 4 has heightened his nose for the ball as he’s pulling down rebounds at a higher rate as the year goes on. Between his ability to track back on the glass and improved sharpshooting, Connaughton is fulfilling such a vital role for the Bucks and his prominence has only grown within their rotation.
