Bryn Forbes bounces back for the Milwaukee Bucks in loss to Hornets

Having a career year shooting from behind the arc, Bryn Forbes does not have many off nights as bad as he did Thursday night. The guard shot 0-for-4 from distance in Milwaukee’s double-digit loss to Dallas, finishing with just three points courtesy of the free throw line.

With that abysmal performance in the rearview, the sharpshooter immediately looked to establish his aggressiveness when he got the nod in the starting lineup Friday. Shooting 7-of-14 from the floor, including 4-of-8 from 3-point territory, the guard was not shy about letting it fly on the offensive end.

Finishing with 18 points, three rebounds, and two assists in his 26 minutes of action, it is safe to say that Forbes had himself a solid bounce-back performance. Hopefully, the guard can build something off of this performance as he transitions back into that bench role. Although he has been relatively solid this season, Forbes has had his share of inconsistent showings from time to time, and games like these show what he can bring to the table.

Although health has played a large factor in it, the Bucks have now lost three straight games and will now hit the road once again. Likely to have several key pieces back in the fold, we will see if they can get back in the win column against the Orlando Magic on Sunday. You can catch that at 6:00 p.m. CST on Bally Sports Wisconsin.
