The Milwaukee Bucks are trying to build momentum before the postseason

The Bucks have hardly been able to build up momentum consistently at all this season. They have endured five game winning streaks, five game losing streaks, and they just snapped a three-game losing streak with a 124-87 win against the Orlando Magic last night.

Antetokounmpo’s absence certainly factors into their recent turbulence-filled run, and one must consider how much that will impact them for the final stretch. Building up momentum while chasing the Eastern Conference’s top seed seemingly goes hand in hand, but it remains to be seen whether they can do either.

They could kill two birds with one stone by doing so, and a strong finish would give them more confidence heading into the postseason, no matter where they land in the seeding. Although the injuries on their roster have hindered their chances, piecing together another lengthy winning streak would give the team some much-needed assurance with a difficult postseason road looming ahead.

The Bucks will aim to close the regular season on a high note, and their play throughout this next month or so will be very telling. Keep an eye on these three storylines as Milwaukee gears up for another hopeful deep playoff run with championship aspirations in mind.
