A possible rest game on the way for the Milwaukee Bucks against the Hawks?

Of course, to have any expectations in regards to how Sunday night will go for the Bucks is quite the open-ended question. Especially when the Bucks are on the second night of a back-to-back, one that starts in their friendly confines and leads into a visit down in Atlanta and kicks off a four-game road trek.

The Bucks’ M.O. in previous instances over the Mike Budenholzer era has been resting their starters and to give seldom-used players that out of the rotation plenty of run for those kinds of nights.

We only have to go back to earlier this month when the Bucks had a back-to-back that kicked off with a visit to the Dallas Mavericks and traveling back home to host the Charlotte Hornets earlier this month. Milwaukee came away with losses in both tilts and that occurred during their stretch when the Bucks were without superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Even as the Bucks’ starters didn’t play heavy minutes against the 76ers Saturday, it wouldn’t be all that surprising to see the Bucks practice similar caution, especially as they have their sights set on maintaining their clean bill of health down this stretch run.
