Looking at Bryn Forbes’ free agent stock for the Milwaukee Bucks

Since bringing his sharpshooting to Milwaukee several months ago, Bryn Forbes has found a natural role within this Bucks squad.

Forbes is up to averaging 9.6 points on .457/.434/.769 shooting, 1.5 rebounds and 0.6 assists across his 60 appearances on the year and on 19.1 minutes per game. While Forbes is incredibly limited elsewhere in other areas of the game, the Bucks’ coaching staff has looked to utilize him in the same vein of sharpshooters they’ve had previously like Kyle Korver in particular.

Having signed a two-year deal that included a $2.4 million player option for next season, Forbes faces an interesting question as to whether he’ll either accept or decline that option. If Forbes has a bigger payday in mind, it’d bard to imagine an opposing team shelling out more than minimum money to bring on an incredibly one-sided player, a productive one at that.

Time will tell what Forbes does when the decision nears.
