Third matchup for Milwaukee Bucks — Giannis Antetokounmpo versus Deandre Jordan

Not many defenders have successfully slowed down Giannis Antetokounmpo, but Deandre Jordan made things tough for him earlier this season.

Although Antetokounmpo scored 18 points in the eight minutes that Jordan guarded him, it was not his most efficient work as he shot 7-for-18 to get there. This included 2-for-6 from behind the arc as the Nets tried their hand at building a wall to keep the two-time MVP as far from the basket as possible.

The Nets will certainly look to implement that scheme once again this time around by sticking Jordan on him and protecting the paint by all means. The two-time All-Defensive center poses a hulking size advantage over Antetokounmpo, and he will give the MVP some trouble. That is nothing new for Antetokounmpo in the bigger picture, but it will be interesting to see if he can find a groove in the rematch when Jordan is guarding him.

Of course, that is if the Greek Freak is good to play after he has essentially missed the team’s past two games after suffering an ankle sprain less than a minute into their matchup last Thursday.
