Jrue Holiday provides balance for Milwaukee Bucks in win over Nets

With both Antetokounmpo and Middleton having fought through various obstacles at times throughout the win, there was Jrue Holiday standing in the middle of it all.

Holiday worked in tandem with Antetokounmpo to set the tone for the Bucks’ overall performance and that led to Holiday having 14 first quarter points. As the veteran guard calmly operated on both ends of the floor, Holiday was essential to the Bucks’ overall play.

Offensively, Holiday was incredibly smooth scoring the ball, whether it was backing down Kyrie Irving in the post to strongly finish at the basket or attacking mismatches by hitting triples off the dribble. Along with that, Holiday’s vision and precise playmaking was all on display as he sprayed all sorts of different passes to Bucks shooters and cutters with exceptional success.

On the other end, Holiday switched on the Nets’ premier scorers throughout the night and looked to disrupt their rhythm in any way he could. It’s safe to say he did just that Holiday came up with the game-clinching steal on Irving that left all Bucks fans overjoyed with such a massive win.

Holiday went on to log 23 points on 8-for-13 shooting (4-for-6 from deep, 3-for-4 from the foul line), 10 assists, eight rebounds, tow turnovers, a steal and a block in just over 36 minutes of run.
