The Milwaukee Bucks would continue their playoff history with the Boston Celtics

As of this writing, the Bucks are slated to continue their long-standing playoff history with the Boston Celtics, who have a 35-32 record and stand in seventh place.

Of course, the Celtics would have to make it out of the play-in tournament in order to see this current projection through and that outcome would only continue what’s been an incredibly underwhelming 2020-21 season for Boston.

Like Miami, the Celtics have been hit significantly by numerous injuries as well as COVID-19-related absences that have affected their stars like Jayson Tatum and most recently, Evan Fournier. Combine that with going through the ups and downs of a young team and struggling to make up the loss of Gordon Hayward and there’s plenty of reasons for why the Celtics stand in such a position.

With all of that in mind, the Celtics are still a team not to be messed with, considering the top-line talent they possess. The Bucks are fully aware of that as Boston took the season series between both sides earlier this season.

Along with facing up against the Heat for their next two games, the Celtics will finish up their season against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Minnesota Timberwolves and the New York Knicks.  As of now, the Celtics have a 49.7 percent chance to finish sixth and a 19.4 percent to finish seventh.

The next week should provide plenty of fireworks in regards to how it all finishes out for Boston going into the playoffs.
