Khris Middleton and Donte DiVincenzo propel a big second half for the Milwaukee Bucks in win over Rockets

Among the many things that went wrong for the Bucks in the first half against the Rockets, the lack of production from Khris Middleton and Donte DiVincenzo stuck out.

Knotted at 64 heading into halftime, these two had struggled to establish any rhythm as they combined to score just four points. The Bucks would need a quick turnaround in the second half from these two, and that is exactly what they received.

After scoring two points in the first half, Middleton flipped the switch by finishing the game with 23 points on 6-for-15 shooting, including 4-for-8 from distance. The forward found some sustainable momentum offensively and also got an added boost from the charity stripe by knocking down a perfect 7-of-7 to cement his second half groove.

DiVincenzo found himself in a similar boat as he started clicking in the third and eventually finished with 18 points on 7-for-14 shooting, including 4-for-10 from long range. Furthermore, he cemented his all-around stellar performance by dishing out four assists, hauling in seven rebounds and snatching two steals.

After struggling significantly to find his shot over the course of the past month, seeing DiVincenzo clock in a stellar scoring performance like this nice efficiency is something that undoubtedly should catch the attention of fans. He could very well be the biggest X-factor for this team heading into the postseason, and this game against Houston could be the ultimate display as to why.
