Donte DiVincenzo enjoys hot start in Milwaukee Bucks’ win over Magic

Speaking of setting tones, Bucks guard Donte DiVincenzo was instrumental in helping spark the Bucks from the opening tip.

Getting his night started by making his first three field goals, DiVincenzo looked very composed, yet aggressive as he attacked the Magic’s interior defense and splashed shots from all three levels.

While the Villanova product struggled to maintain his hot start as the game went along, DiVincenzo still made the right plays and shots when the opportunities presented themselves. That included having a nice two-man game with Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo as he went on to have a strong performance in his own right.

The following highlight that saw DiVincenzo snatch away the ball from an unsuspecting Cole Anthony after misfiring from three is just a quintessential DiVincenzo highlight. And it proved to be the dagger the Bucks needed to finally put away the Magic.

DiVincenzo eventually finished with 19 points on 7-for-12 shooting (3-of-7 from deep), two boards as well as two assists, a steal and a turnover across 28 minutes and 43 seconds off action.

It’s certainly good to see this late season surge after DiVincenzo had been greatly scuffling down the Bucks’ final stretch run.
